Back in 1997, Elaine Lipka was an integral part of building the case against President Clinton. At the time, she was a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This is a career that Lipka has held since 1991 following related experience and education. Lipka became a member of the team of FBI agents who worked directly underneath Special Prosector Ken Starr on the case. Lipka’s role in the perjury investigation was to examine more than 20 tapes of conversations that occurred between Linda Tripp and Lewisnky, and decipher whether or not the latter was being truthful in what she shared. Lipka listened through the tapes extensively and reported to Starr that Lewinsky was, indeed, being honest about the sexual relationship transpiring between herself the President. This was a pivotal development early in the case and it happened because of Elaine Xydis Lipka.
